Dr Christoforos Rekatsinas, is an associate researcher at SKEL Lab under the Institute of Informatics and Telecommunications of NCSR ‘Demokritos’.

He works on the field of reinforcement learning with applications on structural designs and an emphasis on composite and clever materials. He is also working on creating Neural Networks aiming to facilitate Structural Health Monitoring tasks.

Dr Panagiotis Krokidas is a collaborating researcher in SKEL Lab under Institute of Informatics and Telecommunications in NCSR ‘Demokritos’.

He is a Physicist holding an MSc and a PhD in Material Chemistry.

His research interests focus on Material Sciences, emphasizing on computational techniques which combine molecular simulations with artificial intelligence models.
