Another Prestigious Achievement for Christoforos Rekatsinas and INSANE Group: Angelfish Secures 2nd Place at the 1st Innovation Attica Hackathon!
The Innovation Attica Hackathon took place on November 23-24, organized by the Region of Attica through the Regional Development Fund of Attica and the Innovation Center of the Region of Attica. In collaboration with the European Digital Innovation Hubs GRdigiGOV, innoHUB, and Smart Attica, the event was hosted in the welcoming spaces of the Development Organization “New Metropolitan Attica S.A.”
With the participation of 18 teams, supported by 15 experienced mentors, the competition focused on innovative solutions within three challenge themes:
- Tourism & Culture
- Environment, Sustainability & Transportation
- Digital Transformation & Open Innovation
The Evaluation Committee assessed the projects based on innovation, relevance to the challenges, feasibility, and societal and market value. Awards were granted as follows:
- 1st Prize (€5,000): Team “OpenCouncil”
- 2nd Prize (€3,000): Team “Angelfish”
- 3rd Prize (€1,000): Team “calt”
The awards were presented by representatives from Smart Attica, GRdigiGOV, and the Region of Attica, including Mr. Periklis Terlixidis, Mr. Nikos Vasilakis, and Mr. Giorgos Kormas, CEO of “New Metropolitan Attica S.A.” and Chairman of the Evaluation Committee.
This recognition reflects the dedication of the INSANE Group and their innovative Angelfish project in tackling challenges with creativity and impact. Congratulations to all participants!
