The INSANE group proudly celebrates the notable achievement of Christoforos Rekatsinas, Senior Researcher at INSANE, who earned third place in the Blue Growth Piraeus competition. This prestigious event, focuses on promoting sustainable innovation and entrepreneurship within the maritime sector. Rekatsinas’ project, “Angelfish“, is an autonomous surface vehicle which survey the coast/marinas/ports and rid the sea surface of scum and oil spills. This recognition highlights the INSANE group’s commitment to creating AI-driven, environmentally aware, and sustainable solutions that adress everyday challenges.
